Re: Data Analytics Summer Intern, May to July 2027
Dear Ms. Bose,
I am a third-year B.Sc. Statistics student at Fergusson College, and I am excited to apply for the Data Analytics Summer Internship at Greenleaf Analytics. I have followed your work on demand forecasting for Indian grocery chains since your talk at our college fest last year, and I would love to learn from your team.
My studies have given me a strong grounding in regression, sampling and data visualisation. In my Applied Statistics project, I analysed 12,000 sales records from a local dairy cooperative and built a Power BI dashboard that showed which routes were losing money in the monsoon. I also volunteer as data lead for our college's Rotaract Club, where I learned to meet deadlines and explain numbers to people who do not love them as much as I do.
I am a quick learner and comfortable with Excel, Python (pandas) and SQL. I am keen to apply what I have learned to real client work at Greenleaf, and to grow my skills in forecasting and storytelling with data.
Thank you for considering my application. My resume is attached, and I would welcome the chance to talk about how I could contribute this summer. I am available from 4 May 2027 for ten weeks.
Sincerely,
Tanvi Deshpande
